Olhamos ao redor e vemos que são realmente poucos os que estão em defesa da Palavra do Senhor e que são muitos, mas muitos mesmo, que têm trocado as riquezas do reino de Deus pelo manjar oferecido por Satanás e pelo mundo, mas creêm que podem agradar Deus e a Mamom: "Nenhum servo pode servir dois senhores; porque, ou há de odiar um e amar o outro, ou se há de chegar a um e desprezar o outro. Não podeis servir a Deus e a Mamom." (Lucas 16:13)
A Bíblia nos diz: "Porque virá tempo em que não suportarão a sã doutrina; mas, tendo comichão nos ouvidos, amontoarão para si doutores conforme as suas próprias concupiscências;" (II Timóteo 4:3). Estamos vivendo este tempo. Sendo assim, todo cristão está passível (e como!) de entrar em contato com os famintos lobos... e nós não somos excessão!
Dia após dia temos ouvido heresias e modismos que invalidam o sacrifício do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo na cruz e conduzem multidões à desobediência e ao erro. Aqui, pretendemos relatar esse "contato" que temos com esses enganos e, de igual modo, analisar o que as Sagradas Escrituras nos dizem.
"Por isso diz: Desperta, tu que dormes, e levanta-te dentre os mortos, e Cristo te esclarecerá. Portanto, vede prudentemente como andais, não como néscios, mas como sábios..." (Efésios 5:14-15)
"Instruindo com mansidão os que resistem, a ver se porventura Deus lhes dará arrependimento para conhecerem a verdade e tornarem a despertar, desprendendo-se dos laços do diabo, em que à vontade dele estão presos." (II Timóteo 2:26)
